Hands down, this is one of our favorite adventures as a family this year. A Jeep tour of the Sonoran Desert is enjoyable, educational, and entertaining. Our guide was a gentleman named Talon and he is the owner of 4×4 Required Adventures, out of Phoenix, Arizona,
Talon took us on a guided three-hour tour of the Sonoran desert over bumpy roads and rough terrain in his beautiful 2023 Jeep Wrangler Willys. Talon is knowledgeable about the Sonoran Desert and even taught this native Arizonan a few things about the desert.

You can expect an informed and guided tour of the desert with safe driving and exploration on bumpy dirt roads.
What’s the best time of year to do a Jeep tour in Phoenix?
Any time of the year would be great. Obviously, if you’re going to be outdoors, it’s a little hot in the summertime, but his Jeep had a great air conditioning system.
Would I do another Jeep tour?
Absolutely! In fact, a week after our trip, I recommended that my dad take his grandson on a Jeep tour, and they went on the same exact tour we did and loved it. Highly recommended.
