Apple Picking in Sedona

Apple picking in Sedona! This is an amazing day trip idea that kids and adults alike will love! They have many apple varieties to pick at Slide Rock State Park!

Slide Rock State Park is known as a popular swimming spot along Oak Creek – but did you know there are 300 apples trees on the property AND you can pick apples?

Simply pay the state park entrance fee ($20/car at the moment), and then decide what size bag or box you’d like to purchase. A small bag is $5, large bag is $10, and a box is $20. Then you are welcome to browse the rows of apple varieties and pick!

Slide Rock State Park apple picking

Apple picking is a fun and family-friendly activity that is perfect for the fall season. I took my family to Slide Rock State Park in Sedona, Arizona, for a day of apple picking.

We arrived at the park early in the morning and paid the $20 entrance fee. Then, we headed to the apple orchard, which is located about 1,000 yards from the parking lot. The orchard has a variety of apple trees, including Fuji, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious.

We started picking apples right away. The apples were crisp and juicy, and we quickly filled our bags.

Overall, we had a great time apple picking in Sedona. It was a perfect family outing, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun activity.
