Snow Week at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix just celebrated it’s 10th year of this popular event! Usually, the week between Christmas and New Year’s the museum offers fun snow-themed activities in addition to their regular exhibits. While finished for 2021, follow the science center on social media for updates on their next snow week!
We started the day by building a snow pal, enjoying a Subaru-themed photoshoot, walking like a penguin, and enjoying special “snow-themed” demonstrations. For a small fee, you can add on some ice skating. You may even catch some snow falling on your way in and out! This upcoming Sat & Sun, they will even have live ice sculpture demonstrations.
Our kids really enjoyed the liquid nitrogen demonstration and “Arizona Skies” in the planetarium! We also caught the special exhibit, “Build It”, which ends in mid-January. I think they could have spent the entire day building!
