Phoenix With Kids Local Gift Guide: Father’s Day Edition
Our Mother’s Day local gift guide was such a success, here we are again with a Father’s Day edition. This list is a unique combination of local companies offering items the Dads in your life need.
Anyone else feel like Dads are hard to shop for? One year I got him new boxers, socks and shirts, just to slow him down opening presents till he got to the big one. He didn’t notice they were from me and the kids, and thought they were from his Mom. One year I hid a giant box in our garage and made up a story about it being for the kids. So when it came time to open he was so confused. I could easily have the kids make him some drawings and call it for the year. Especially this year when the kids can’t go shopping. However I like to try to be unique. Or practical. What does Dad NEED that he doesn’t get for himself. A new pair of work shoes may not be the fanciest gift, but when you know your husband’s feet hurt, why not?
Stem Swag – Forget all the rules of sending flowers and check out Stem Swag. You can request your favorite flower, color or theme to be sent to someone special. Their arrangements tell a story and are customizable. Birthdays, breakups, anniversaries, holidays, sympathy, weddings, baby showers, graduations and any special event you can imagine. Why not send a father in your life something special. Use code “PWK10” for a discount on your order through July 1st For even more fun add a party popper full of confetti!
BBQ Island – With locations across the valley in Scottsdale, Tempe and Peoria, this location has everything Dad needs. BBQ, smokers, pizza ovens, fridges to outdoor living. Our favorite was the pellet of the month club. Each month Dad was able to pick out a new flavor for smoking on his new Traeger. They sell everything Dad needs to grill. They will also deliver and set it up for you.
