Paradise Valley Mall Children’s Play Area

Chris and Jana Tingom

For years now, we’ve been going to the Children’s Play Area at Paradise Valley Mall on a regular basis. It’s only about 10 minutes from our home in Scottsdale, and our daughter loves it. It’s part of our summertime ritual. When we can’t figure out what to do and it’s too hot to do anything else.

Mommy and daddy love it, too! Because there’s comfortable seating all around the play area that surrounds the kids and keeps them corralled. So, you can sit almost anywhere, and keep an eye on the kids.

The play area is located near the J.C. Penny inside Paradise Valley Mall. You can enter near the Starbucks or from the food court. They also have a friendly conductor who drives a train around the mall. It costs a few dollars, but is tons of fun for the kids.

The play area has slides, and turtles, fishes, and lily pads you can jump and play on. On weekends and holidays, it’s super packed. The play area closes every day at 2 pm for an hour for cleaning. The maximum height for children is 42″.
