Kierland Park

We have been to Kierland Park about 4-5 times now, and it has quickly become one of our favorite parks in the Scottsdale area.

We got bicycles last fall from a local bike shop and have been biking all over the Scottsdale area this year. It has been an absolute blast! The parks we frequently visit (due to proximity to our home) are Cactus Park, Sereno Park, and now Kierland Park.

The kids love the playground, and there is a water spicket for playing in the sand.

Just a note, there are ony two swings (for smaller kids).

Kierland Park offers a large playground (although smaller than Cactus Park). It has the benefit of being located in a neighborhood, and is less busy than other nearby parks.

We recently took our new Minion kite to the park and flew it around.

  1. Hi! Thanks so much for creating and maintain this site. 🙂 I have two girls, ages 2 and 4, and we are moving to Scottsdale from California. I am researching playgrounds and am hoping you can point me towards popular playgrounds in Scottsdale and Phoenix. Currently we have a few favorite playgrounds that are always overrun with kids, which is wonderful. Can you recommend any playgrounds that are also very popular and usually populated with a lot of kids for my girls to pay with? Thanks so much!!!

  2. Nicole,
We tend to frequent these ones:

Chaparral Park, Cactus Park, Scottsdale Ranch Park, Kierland Park, Sereno Park, and Horizon Park.

    I hope that helps!
