Jackrabbit Park in Phoenix

The city did a great addition to Jackrabbit Park in Phoenix by adding this much-needed playground along 61st St. just north of Paradise Lane.

The city did a great addition to Jackrabbit Park in Phoenix by adding this much-needed playground along 61st St. just north of Paradise Lane.

Playground

The big kids structure has a general store, slides and more climbing. Spinning chairs, swings and another climbing structure round out the playground equipment.

This wood chip playground has a toddler climbing structure with slides, a wall for climbing, and some small shade.

There is an area of sand with a water spout (that was not working the day we visited) perfect for kids like mine who love the sand.

Picnic

There is a little shade but not much. The water fountain was on, but the spout for water in the sand was off. This is definitely a nice spot for all ages to play!

There are a few picnic tables throughout the park, but no reservable ramadas available. Shade trees may be a good spot for picnics. There are no restrooms

Getting There

Jackrabbit Park in Phoenix has parking along the street next to the new playground. To get directly there, use this in your GPS to take you just north of Paradise Lane on 61st Place.
