Grayhawk Park in Scottsdale has a little bit of everything, including spray poles, with recently updated playgrounds to keep kids busy in the shade.

Spray Poles

I have visited this park several times over the years and these spray poles have never been on. We visited spring of 2024 and it appeared as is a spray pole switch was broken.

Little Kids Playground

The littles playground was recently updated and is somewhat shaded, swing, slides, climbing structure and nearby sand to play in.

This entire playground is shaded by solar panels. They have a climbing structure, lots of swings and a playground for kids to climb on. There are numerous benches for sitting and the floor is rubber so I saw parents with blankets spread out for sitting.

There is a fence between the playground and the driveway. There is minimal traffic here except during school drop off and pick up hours.

This 13 acre park features bathrooms, baseball fields, basketball fields, tennis courts and volleyball courts.

Grayhawk Park in Scottsdale is available on a first come, first served basis. You do not need a reservation. However, if you are planning to have inflatables, catered food, or another specialty item, please call the city to verify the company’s insurance information.

Walking Paths

These walking paths around the ball parks are great for stroller walks as well as short toddler hikes. This would be a great spot to start kids on little trails!

Getting There

There is a large shaded parking lot off 76th St you can park in.
