Frontier Family Park in Queen Creek is a beautiful new park that recently opened!. The playground is ADA accessible and includes activities for children of all ages and abilities. My kids had the best time trying out the variety of equipment and cooling off in the splash pad!

The main playground structure is built on a hill and has multiple levels , which sometimes makes it difficult for some children to access. However, this playground is ADA accessible and includes many ramps to reach the highest parts of the playground, which allows children of all abilities to access different levels of the playground. This also made it easier for me to follow my adventurous 3 yo without climbing up the hills or attempting the climbing structures!

My kids loved the variety of equipment. There are so many ways to spin, climb, swing, and slide! They have multiple merry go rounds and a variety of climbing structures, from climbing walls to steps to ropes, which allowed for even my 8 yo to find something challenging for him.

The splash pad is located within the playground area, which made it easy to keep an eye on my water-loving kids while the others explored the playground. The splash pad has multiple water spouts, but no large dumping elements, which made it friendly for my younger kids.

The playground also has a lot of built in shade- even shade over the swings and the ziplines, which I had found are areas most often left unshaded. Between the shade and the ability to move easily from playground to splash pad, we were able to stay longer than expected on a hot summer day!

The playground is surrounded by a fence with two openings- one by the parking lot and one near the splash pad. Unfortunately, these are not gated openings, so they will not completely keep your little ones contained in the playground area, but the fence does provide separation between the playground and the fishing lake. There are also multiple ramadas within the playground area, which makes it a great park to bring lunch!

In addition to an amazing playground, Frontier Family Park also has many other amenities. They have a fishing lake and many families were there fishing. It also has pickleball courts, baseball fields, sand volleyball courts, and basketball courts. They also have an aquatic and recreation center which is planned to open in Spring 2025.

Frontier Family Park in Queen Creek is located at 20039 S 220 Street, Queen Creek, AZ 85142.
