Calling all baseball lovers – D-Bat in Scottsdale is the place to go to practice your bat and ball skills! Little League to professional levels are welcome to the cages, and various classes are offered as well. There are also D-Bat locations in Avondale, Mesa, and Peoria. (This review is specifically about the Scottsdale location, but all D-Bats generally operate in the same manner.)
D-Bat offers over a dozen practice cages! There are pitching machines available, offering various speeds from 40-80mph. You can practice an an individual or as a team! This is perfect for one on one practice and groups. Each cage comes with baseballs/softballs, L-screen, and batting T’s. Bats are available as well, or you can bring your own.
Lessons, camps, and clinics are also offered at D-Bat. They have a pro shop with anything baseball or softball imaginable for sale, from equipment to hats. But even if you don’t need a lesson, this is the perfect indoor place to practice safely.
We took a tour shortly after D-Bat in Scottsdale opened in mid-February 2020. Our oldest even got to try her hand in the cages, plus got some one on one tips from a coach! Having never played baseball or softball before, it was fun to see how quickly she picked it up. Coach Tyler was encouraging and so fun. He represents the company well, guaranteeing your child will enjoy lesson and practice time at D-Bat.
D-Bat in Scottsdale is open Monday-Friday from 10am-9pm, Saturday from 10am-6pm, and Sunday from 12-6pm. Prices vary, see the graphic above for details. Memberships are also available, with the Gold level at $48/month and the Platinum level at $78/month. A comfortable parent lounge is available.
