If you’ve been wanting to try out paddleboarding with the family, we recommend renting from Copper State Boat Rentals in Phoenix!
We love kayaking as a family, but they are big and bulky to tote around. Paddleboarding is a fun alternative that is easy to transport! Thanks to Copper State Boat Rentals, we took two paddleboards out one weekend to our favorite water spot, Bartlett Lake, and had an amazing day. We explored all up and down the shore and even crossed the lake a few times. The kids quickly became pros at stand-up paddling too!
The board easily fits two kids, or an adult and child. If you’re worried about balancing like this mama was, sitting to paddle is very easy and didn’t “rock the boat” at all. We may have a new favorite sport!
The 10-foot boards came with all necessary accessories, including a manual pump, paddles, and even an attachable seat, similar to kayaks. We did a trial run for the pump at home before leaving, which really helped speed up the process once at the lake. You can easily be on your way in 15 minutes!
Copper State Boat Rentals offers paddleboard rentals starting at $30/day, life jackets included. Discounts are available for multiple board rentals! Pick up is in the South Phoenix area. See their website for more details. Thanks to James and Copper State for sharing with us!
